Raiders flex muscles against Steelers

The Oakland Raiders found their legs just in time against their AFC rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Oakland beat Pittsburgh in last year's AFC title game, but then struggled in the season opening loss to San Diego.

Fullback Mark Van Eeghen had 1 yard rushing against the Chargers, but he took the first handoff of the game for 56 yards to set up Ken Stabler's 10-yard TD pass to Dave Casper.

Van Eeghen found the endzone in the 2nd quarter and Neal Colzie ran back a punt 68 yards for a score to take a 31-7 lead into the half.

Van Eeghen finished with 108 yards and 2 TD's.

Donnie Shell ran back a Stabler interception 77 yards early in the 4th quarter, but that was the last score by either team.
