1977 NFL Replay Week 9 Recaps, Standings and League Leaders

The San Diego Chargers are showing no signs of slowing down as they routed the Denver Broncos 36-14 in Week 9 and set up a key rematch with the Oakland Raiders in Week 10.

Charlie Joiner caught 6 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown to lead the Chargers (8-1).

The Cincinnati Bengals grabbed the AFC Central lead with a 4th quarter rally to beat the Minnesota Vikings 28-21 while Pittsburgh and Houston both suffered losses.

The Los Angeles Rams posted a 24-0 shutout over Green Bay, but Atlanta downed Detroit to keep pace.
